4-H Ontario receives grant from Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont

Funds will be used to support Youth Adventure Camp.

Rockwood, ON – June 18, 2018 – Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, is pleased to announce that as part of its new Growing Today, Leading Tomorrow community investment program, $5,000 has been donated to 4-H Ontario.

The grant from Corteva Agriscience™ will support the 4-H Ontario Youth Adventure Camp (YAC), an introductory-level, interactive leadership training experience that teaches youth ages 12-15 teamwork, verbal and non-verbal communication and goal-setting skills. Jim Coffey, territory manager at Corteva Agriscience™, endorsed the grant.

“We are pleased to support 4-H Ontario and Youth Adventure Camp,” says Coffey. “Corteva Agriscience™ is fully invested in providing today’s rural youth with the essential skills they need to lead now and in the future.”

“Youth Adventure Camp allows youth to share ideas and learn more about themselves and others while building self-esteem,” says Katherine Smart, Manager, corporate giving and philanthropy with 4-H Ontario. “This grant from Corteva Agriscience™ gives us the resources to deliver top-notch programming that will ensure the youth we raise today will be leading our farms and communities for many generations to come.”
